CARES Afterschool Program
Bel Air CARES Afterschool Program is a well-established program that services students TK-5th grade, with strong support from our community partners as well as from our school site and administration. This support stems from history of excellence programming, coordination, and strong program leadership. Financially we are supported by grants from both state and city initiatives. We focus weekly in providing the kids with educational requirements such as: S.T.E.M., Garden, Cooking/Nutrition, Tribes, and homework help. We are not a homework completion program but we do dedicate and hour of homework help with assistance of out two credential teachers on site. Fridays are our special days to for our students we set up a day of fun activities for working hard throughout their week. We also host family events so that our school could come together as a community and see our student’s achievements through the progression of Afterschool Program.
